I am currently reading medicine at the University of Manchester. Having past experience both tutoring online and in person, I am confident and have a range of teaching styles that allow me to adapt to best suit my students needs.
I achieved 2 A*s and an A in Chemistry , Maths and Biology respectively, as well as 10 9-8’s in my GCSEs, including Maths and Science.
My main aim as a tutor is to make concepts and the exam easier to understand, therefore allowing my students to become more confident and go beyond their potential. My teaching style involves going through an overview of the topic, asking questions throughout to help the students recall what they already know whilst also clearing up anything they are uncertain on. This is then followed by some exam style questions to further strengthen their understanding.
