Science, Maths, English, History
Over the last ten years, I have taught hundreds of students in one-to-one, group, in-person and online sessions, and have built positive, long-lasting relationships with both parents and students. My 11 and 13 plus students have progressed to their first-choice schools, including Roedean and St Dunstans Junior School, and my GCSE students have consistently achieved Grade 7s to 9s.
I currently am offering Maths and English from KS2-KS4.
My teaching style is very interactive, and I use session time to get as much learning done as possible. Students are encouraged to further consolidate what they have learnt in their independent-learning time across the week by completing relevant homework tasks.
Academically, my GCSE results were in the top 2% of the 2018 national cohort, with eight 9s (A**), two A*S and two A grades. I went on to study Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at Sixth Form, and achieved A*AA respectively. I then attended Brighton and Sussex Medical School for a year, and am now in my final year at the University of Leeds studying History. I have accepted an offer from Teach First to start as a secondary-school maths teacher in the next academic year.
