Maths

I am a passionate and dedicated mathematics teacher committed to fostering a love for learning and problem-solving among my students. With an extensive background in education and a fervor for mathematics, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can flourish academically and develop critical thinking skills.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from University of Derby, where I developed a solid foundation in mathematical theories and applications. Subsequently, I earned my teaching (PGCE with QTS) qualified status from Loughborough University, equipping me with the pedagogical skills necessary to create meaningful learning experiences for students.

I believe that every student has the potential to succeed in mathematics, given the right guidance and support. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages students to explore, question, and apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations. I am committed to helping students develop not only mathematical proficiency but also critical thinking skills that will serve them well in any field.

My ultimate goal is to empower students to reach their full potential in mathematics. I offer regular office hours for individualised support, collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-disciplinary learning, and continuously seek professional development opportunities to refine my teaching techniques.

It is a privilege to be a part of the Class Tutor community, where I am excited to contribute to the academic and personal growth of my students. I look forward to inspiring a love for mathematics and fostering a lifelong appreciation for learning.
