I have a great passion for teaching sciences and sharing my knowledge with others. Having achieved top grades in my GCSEs, earning 8’s and 9’s across the board, I’ve developed a deep understanding of effective study techniques, especially for challenging subjects like the sciences and maths.
My teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts easy to understand by breaking them down into manageable parts. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to fit individual needs, ensuring a personalised learning experience. One of the key techniques I use in my lessons is active recall, a scientifically proven method to boost memory retention. By incorporating active recall questions, quizzes, and discussions, I help students reinforce their understanding and retain information more effectively. I believe discussion based learning is incredibly important, therefore I try my best to get students discussing the content and questioning what they have learnt.
