I am currently studying Grad Medicine and I am in my final year of my studies. I also have completed an Undergraduate Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Leicester. Since COVID, I have been tutoring with many different organisations which have all incorporated different styles. I have a range of capabilities between online and face to face teaching and also a range of experience with various ages. Before teaching any student, I really like to understand them as individuals so I can meet their needs and build a good rapport.
I believe that teaching is the most essential task any person can offer. As great as the schooling system is, many students feel down or disheartened when a topic comes up which they find difficult to understand. We’ve all been there, and there is nothing to be ashamed of! My job is to help the student regain their confidence back and gain the best grades they can possibly achieve. I like to engage with my students alot and allow them to show me what they need help with the most rather than me setting a specific curriculum form them. That way we can tackle the aspects they struggle with the most and bring thyem back to speed with all their other subjects.
