I am currently a first year medical student at the Hull York Medical School. I am very passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation of young minds to love science and think big!
My students have ranged from early reception years to Key Stage 3, and I have taught both 1 to 1 and group based in-person and online tuition in my previous role as a Tutor at a national UK-based tutoring centre.
My teaching style involves breaking down large volumes of content into its foundational constituents, into small bite-sized pieces that are easy to digest. I then quiz my students to ensure they understand what I have taught which also gives me the opportunity to clarify anything that they may be unsure about. Through this, I am able to make sure that my students feel like they are actively participating in my lessons rather than just being spoken at – a crucial aspect for exam success!
