I have been a qualified teacher since 2017, but I have been privately tutoring since 2011. I have teaching experience across many different schooling types including Tertiary, SEN, Academy and Free-Schools, but now tutor full-time. Having taught Mathematics, English, Science, and Music Theory from Primary & Prep, through to Key Stage 3, GCSE & IGCSE, A-Level & University prep, across all the major Exam Boards, I am aware of the importance of keeping up to date with changes made to the current curricula.
I create tailor-made lessons to suit each student’s needs, producing an engaging and creative learning environment. This is done by taking the pedagogical approach of addressing fixed mindsets and working with my students to build up a wide range of soft skills such as vertical deep learning, in addition to hard skill exam-based techniques. Therefore, my lessons are perfectly designed to not only boost understanding and confidence, but also exam results.
