I am a BSc Physics graduate from the University of Manchester and I currently pursuing an MSc in Physics at Durham University, where I am involved in a research project related to creating mock observations of dwarf galaxies and simulations. However, in addition to my research, I have also served as a teacher and tutor for many years, teaching Python to groups of children over summer and earning the title of “tutor of the week” due to positive reviews from both the coordinators and students.
I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I can teach a variety of topics such as Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I have tutored and taught a large range of ages and topics, for example through my involvement with the University of Manchester Peer Assisted Study Sessions, I mentored first-year students and planned and delivered presentations and workshops related to future career prospects and physics topics. Additionally, I worked as a module demonstrator for Second year maths and physics university students.
I have a passion for teaching and I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those I teach!
