Vanessa graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher status from Leeds Trinity University in 2016. She gained a wealth of experience from teaching in a wide range of primary schools in the West Yorkshire area for approximately six years. Vanessa champions students to develop their resilience and self-belief. During her time as a classroom teacher, many parents favourably commented on how well Vanessa picked up on their children’s quirks and catered for them in her teaching styles.
During her university studies, Vanessa combined her passions of teaching and travelling when she taught English to foreign students of all ages, in Malta. Vanessa became particularly familiar with teaching virtually throughout the COVID-pandemic whilst she was delivering online intervention tuition to primary-school aged pupils.
Most recently, Vanessa has tutored a wide range of students online. The content of her online lessons varies greatly; ranging from EFL beginner lessons to preparing students who wish to sit the 11+ examination.
